Artificial InteleGENTS

My name is Zach Westfall, I’m currently 19 years old living in St. Louis, Missouri. I go to Lindenwood University in St. Charles Missouri and I live in a dorm there.

I have been gaming since I was 3 (I started off TMNT Arcade II on the NES, now known as TMNT 1989 Arcade on XBL) and I have loved it ever since. I have always been a bit different from my friends in terms of gaming; I always looked beyond the game and analyzed the quality of the graphics, the character movements, and especially the story.

I have been writing about video games for a couple of years now, but I recently joined the AI team with Zach, Steve, and others, and I’m having a lot of fun with it right now. I am currently a double major with Business as one, and English as another. I am also minoring in Psychology. My studies have also helped out in my gaming, and vice-versa. Because I am so rampantly obsessed with people using proper English, I often easily note subtleties such as incorrectly spelled words in games (Oblivion was full of them!).

I have also always loved reviewing games, whether it be me sitting alone being a silent critic, or me being vocal to my friends about it. Now that I have the opportunity to review games in full on a .com website, I can’t wait to put my skills to the test.

In addition to being a student, I am also very politically active (but I don’t take sides with either party). I like to stand up for the rights of all Americans, and I have somewhat of a reputation for myself in my hometown for my work on political campaigns and my strong belief that you should be able to drink at 18 if you can die for your country, as well as the full legalization of the green. I believe that if you feel strongly about something, you should do something about it and not just sit idly by, I also Love History and that is why I love games like Assassins Creed.
